What each role is really assessed on, the questions that follow from it, and the evidence to prepare.
- Account executive interview questions and preparationAn account executive interview is assessed on four things: whether you can generate and qualify pipeline, whether you can run a structured discovery conversation, whether you can handle objections without discounting, and whether your numbers hold up under questioning.
- Product manager interview questions and preparationProduct manager interviews test four things: product sense (can you design something sensible for a user), execution (can you ship), analytics (can you reason with numbers), and behavioural evidence (can you work with engineers, designers and stakeholders).
- Software engineer interview questions and preparationA software engineering interview usually has three assessed parts: a coding exercise, a design discussion scaled to your level, and a behavioural round. Coding rounds score your reasoning out loud at least as much as the final solution.
- Data analyst interview questions and preparationA data analyst interview usually has three parts: a SQL or technical test, a case question about measuring something, and stakeholder questions about how you turn an ambiguous request into an answer people act on.

Both are scored; candidates usually underprepare the second.
